The [Benton] Ledger and Scrapbook is a single item used as both a ledger and a scrapbook. The name Benton appears at the top of pages of the ledger, which may be the location of the business, probably a general store in Benton, Holmes County, Ohio. The ledger lists goods sold and names of customers, while the newspapers include poems, short stories, marriages, obituaries, and more.

This collection contains an Internal Revenue collections account book kept by J. A. Brown of Martinsville, Virginia, from 1889-1892.

This collection includes a household ledger from the estate of Edith Luke(?). A note on the inside cover reads "Geo. Parker my father." The notebook contains multiple ledgers, handwritten and clipped recipes, household accounts, and prayers. The notebook contains a number of different handwritings, so it may have been used by a variety of family members.

This collection contains a household and farming ledger owned by a Shropshire, England family, dating 1832-1867. Two articles and a letter report the discovery of coal in Shropshire. The ledger also contains financial records, notes on wine making and farming, instructions for care of cattle and pest control, and various receipes and remedies.

This collection consists of a single account book, apparently maintained by Hallett Swift, of Wareham, Massachusetts, detailing sales of produce (chiefly corn and potatoes) and other goods, with credits to customers for cash, goods, labor and services. Also used as recipe book, featuring both handwritten and clipped recipes.
